This is our home recipe, as made by our Maa today, passed on from generation to generation.  Gharam masala, meaning warm blend, is the heart of most savoury Punjabi dishes.

The origin of gharam masala goes back thousands of years, perfected by ancient wisdom for the purpose of harmonising the food we eat with our with the body.

 

Suggested guide

Approx 2.8 grams (1 tsp) makes one curry serving four people.

  • For one person, 25 grams every 2 months.
  • For a family of four, 200 grams every two months.
