Not drinking as much as these days so I wanted to share an alcohol-free version of this traditional classic.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Orange Sliced
  • 650 ml Cranberry juice
  • 250 ml Apple juice
  • 150 ml Blackcurrant cordial A good quality one will be worth it.
  • 3 g Star anise
  • 1.6 g Green cardamom
  • 0.65 Cloves
  • 7 g Cinnamon Quills
  • 3 g Ginger powder
  • 0.15 g Nutmeg Grated
  • 1 tbsp Honey It's optional, I used buckwheat honey.

Instructions
 

  • Crush the cardamom open.
  • Add all the ingredients into a pan.
  • Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Let the wine sit for a couple of hours.
  • Re-heat and serve.
