Red lentils dhaal recipe kit

Red lentil dhaal (soup/curry) is a classic recipe in many Punjabi households.  This authentic recipe is as my Maa cooks it today and included is her signature Gharam masala blend.

Description

Red lentil dhaal (soup/curry) is a classic recipe in many Punjabi households.  This authentic recipe is as my Maa cooks it today and included is her signature Gharam masala blend. Online recipe at this link: Red lentil dhal. Serve with Rice, Naan or Pitta bread or simply eat with a spoon as a soup.

Red lentils are said to have a variety of phyto-nutrients, to be rich in minerals, cholesterol decreasing fibres and it is a good source of protein.  Probably why it's a regular favorite in the Ayurvedic world.
