It’s a simple and quick one-pot stew.  We make it at home, when we want something quick to cook or healthy to cook.

Health benefits

Red lentils are said to have a variety of phyto-nutrients, to be rich in minerals, cholesterol decreasing fibres and it is a good source of protein.  Probably why it's a regular favorite in the Ayurvedic world.
