Cool down in the summer heat with this herbal brew. If you have a constitution like mine and you get easily bothered by the heat then this herbal chai could really help you as it has been me. Note, Cumin in small quantities has a cooling effect on the body but in larger doses it will heat the body. This is the magic of spices, this recipe according to Ayurveda has all the ingredients to cool and re-balance your systems.

Ingredients

  • 2 tea spoons of Fennel Seed
  • 2 tea spoons of Cumin seed
  • 2 tea spoons of Coriander seed
  • 12 floret of Dried Rose petals
  • 4 cups of Water

Instructions

  • Using a tea infuser, submerge spices into a pot for about 5 minutes.
  • Alternatively you can boil the water with the ingredients and strain later.
